If I remember correctly, the first reason I started taking an interest in Gen V was because I was a huge bleach fan, and I saw this piece of fanart somewhere on Capslock_Bleach.

It's the villain of Bleach Movie 4: Hell Verse, Shuren, dressed in some (then) weird garb, with a sewaddle dressed as Kokuto, the other villain of the movie.

I later found out that Shuren had the same voice actor as a certain Gen V gym leader, Burgh(Arti), to be exact. When I finally found the episode, I found out they really DID sound similar. As in, Kojiro-Urahara similar. Which is very similar.

By the time I found the episode, I was already pretty much hooked thanks to the beautiful animation, the Cilan-and-Iris duo, and all that.

And it's still not hard to imagine Arti in Shuren's Hell Garb, shooting fireballs at Satoshi. With an evil, giggling Leavanny in the corner. Not hard at all.

I ship this so hard. So very, very, hard. Just as hard as Wishfulshipping or DualRivalShipping.

Thank you, Hidenori Kusaka and Satoshi Yamamoto.

I love how, when everyone sends out their strongest fliers(Pikachu not included, because he's pikachu),  Yanappu is the only pokemon there that's not, say, a pseudo-legendary, an electric rodent, or a final evolution of some flying creature/statue/whatever.

It makes him even more adorable than he already is.

Seriously? I'm suddenly not so excited for the December 8 release now.

The japanese one--- HELL YES.

Also, who the heck decided to make Keldeo sound like that in English? Hooray for tomboy japanese voices by Shoko Nakagawa.

Also, to PocketMonstersFanSubs, I owe my life.

So I got a new haircut. So the Pokemon characters find it hilarious. Rukia doesn't.
If anyone gets the Lickitung reference there, they deserve a gold star.

The latest episode had a Daikenki, was full of Pikachu, Riolu, and Meloetta making deadpan snarker expressions, and basically had Cilan and Iris hanging out next to each other for the entire episode while Ash and Kotetsu did their Bromance Bonding. Oh, and an epic gym battle.

In summary, I love this episode.

Kotetsu: Hey, Ash--What's your goal as a pokemon trainer?
Ash: I'm aiming to be the greatest pokemon master.
Kotetsu: I see! I'm aiming to be the greatest pokemon champion!
Ash: I won't lose out to you as a pokemon master!
Kotetsu: Me neither!
Ash: Let's keep it up!
Kotetsu: Yep!
Both: *Bro--thumb.*

And Marlon did look a little odd, but whatever. At least his mantine is cute. It could've had a little more Wishfulshipping in it, but the Daikenki-Ferrothorn-Riolu cuteness is taking over my brain good.

Okay, now back to work.

I can't stop listening to this. And the game isn't even out yet.
PokeSpe makes me love Platinum/Platina Berlitz the way I could never love Anime!Dawn. I'm sorry, Dawn, but it's just no good.
I'll miss you for now, though. Best Wishes(Pun not intended) for your Wallace Cup. I'm not missing the piplup.
Which reminds me; Why the heck is the Wallace Cup everywhere except Hoenn? Doesn't anyone remember that Wallace is from Hoenn?

I seem to be staring at the Robins too much for my own good lately. Especially Tim Drake.
But the New 52 has me very, very, confused.
I'd hire Deadpool for my birthday.

My new favourite BW scene, which I went crazy trying to resize.
From Pokemon M14 White.
So aspiring Pokemon Master Ash is really bad at throwing. Considering he's been throwing pokeballs for 15 years, that's a little odd.
Kewl artwork, though.

I need the name of this meme, someone.

The fact that they did a Best Wishes version of it is already awesome.

Oh, and nice Lopunny.

So I was watching Pokemon M14 White in japanese(I freaking loooooove PocketMonstersFanSubs), and then I came to the part when Satoshi has randomly found himself on one of the crystallised branches, where Dento, Iris, and the other random filler characters with badass pokemon can't even get to. Then Satoshi continues running, and then suddenly Zekrom's voice starts erupting out from nowhere, questioning his ideals. Then all of a sudden, Satoshi's footing starts crumbling under him, and he's running for his life, trying not to fall to his death. And all I could think of was, "Zekrom, you go to all the trouble to let Satoshi and his Pikachu down there, and then you're going to kill them? That's cold.

But I like Zekrom's appearance. Yay for Zekrom and Reshiram. Why didn't they get more airtime? They really could've used it.
                                                                    My goodness.
I love this new rival guy already. A total idiot outside of battle, a sweatdropping Riolu, and a ferrothorn and samurott on the team? And this guy probably beat Cheren/Lenora(for some reason I hope it's Cheren, then we'll get a cameo)? If this guy was Hue, then Best Wishes Season 2 would be complete.

THANK you, for making up for that dreadful World Tournament Junior Cup. This guy better be as awesome as he looks in the preview.

This has me written all over it.
Why hello there, Cheren.

After excessive Teen Titans watching, I've grown to like Titans East a lot more than I should.
No, not that one. THIS one.

Especially Mas Y Menos. Even though I have absolutely no idea what they're saying. Why can't DC introduce a couple more asian superheroes?
So today, I suddenly realised that Roggenrola is actually a play on "Rock and Roll-a".

My apologies to the Roggenrola who's been sitting around on my first few posts. Oops. I do admit, these guys are cute. Cuter than Geodude and Graveler, at least. Golem.....tie.

Hi, random tympole.

I will suddenly never look at Alfred Pennyworth and Batman the same way again.

Sunday, September 2, 2012

When I was in Primary School, I used to watch Teen Titans a lot. A lot. But I never really paid much attention to their pairings; I was always into the humour episodes, and I nearly always avoided the serious ones (with the exceptions of Titans Together).

Now, the first episodes I look for after having rediscovered them on Youtube are Masks, X, and Apprentice. And anything that has an english opening. And THIS pairing

Seems to be getting a lot of attention from me nowadays. At least the TV Show knows how to make these things canon. *cough*Stupidconfusingcomicbooks*cough*

So I'm so antisocial, that I actually came up with personalities for my eight main pokemon in my White Version. I need to write them down somewhere.

In order of when I got them:
Daikenki [Samurott ♂, currently level 87]: Bashful nature. Likes to Run. He doesn't have a best friend on the team, since  he's kind of like a buddy to everyone. Since he's also the oldest member of the team, he's pretty much the guy everyone goes to for a chat. He's the default guy in charge when the trainer isn't around. Being the most mature doesn't stop him from loving RageCandyBars.

Dredear [Lilligant ♀, currently level 87]: Timid nature. Likes to Relax. One of the few girls on the team, so she enjoys hanging out with other females. Best Friends with Kojondo, and the Girly Girl (compared to the other girls, at least) to her Tomboy. Her timid nature doesn't stop her from getting iffed when her teammates take the last casteliacone. She has a very obvious crush on Cheren's Serperior.

Larry [Krookodile ♂, currently level 87]: Lax Nature. Very Finicky. Best Friends with Sazandora, because they're both Dark Types, Guys, and basically like acting bad. That doesn't mean that they ARE bad. They enjoy trying to pull pranks on the others. Mostly Larry has to be the one carrying them out, since Sazandora has no proper hands. This makes their pranks so obviously predictable that the only ones who still fall for them are Denchura and their trainer. Larry enjoys wearing the Darkglasses equipped onto him.

Kojondo [Mienshao ♀, currently level 87]: Hardy Nature. Mischievous. Best Friends with Dredear, and the Tomboy to her Girly Girl. Her favourite hobby is teasing her friend about her crush with a giant green snake. She likes hanging out with Ononokus and Dredear in a girls' trio. Her favourite drink is MooMooMilk, because she's a natural sucker for believing in the "Milk builds Strong Bones" stuff. Her Hi-Jump-Kick tendencies have earned her the title for Highest Use of Plasters and Bandages.

Ononokus [Haxorus ♀, currently level 87]: Brave Nature. Often Lost in Thought. Has taken it upon herself to be the foil to Larry and Sazandora's pranks, normally in an agressive manner. Larry and Sazandora absolutely detest her X-Scissor, and in Sazandora's case, Outrage. Enjoys daydreaming,(about what, she won't tell) a lot, providing perfect opportunities for Larry to put fake moustaches on her...Fangs? She hates the Pokemon Musical, for some strange reason. Must be the moustaches.

Sazandora [Hydreigon ♂, currently level 87]: Hardy Nature. Likes to Run. Or rather, liked to run, back when he was a Zweilous. Acts as the brains of his and Larry's joke operations. He's a little annoyed with his trainer for giving him a name that sounds like a girls name [even though Sazandora is supposed to be derived from San (three) and "King Ghidorah, another three-headed dragon based on the Yamata no Orochi."] He has an unspoken rivalry with Ononokus, because they like arguing about who the stronger dragon on the team is. They like settling this by firing dragon pulses and Outrages at each other, just to see who keels over first, much to the horror of their teammates.

Warrgle [Braviary ♂, currently level 85]: Modest Nature. Somewhat Vain. Best Friends with Denchura, because both were later additions to the team. Has a huge dislike for Tangela, thanks to unfortunate training sessions in Route 13. He cares a lot about his appearance, but he's otherwise a  nice, polite chap. His insane headfeathers take him a quarter of an hour to preen everyday, and he gets very, very pissed off when someone upsets his feathers. In this way, you can liken him to Cheren.
Denchura [Galvantula ♂, currently level 82]: Relaxed Nature. Capable of Taking Hits. Best Friends with Warrgle. Since he's the youngest, he's ended up as the baby of the group. He's also the resident Butt Monkey. Incredibly naive and always the one who falls for Larry and Sazandora's practical jokes, with the exception of the trainer. Everyone enjoys watching out for him, since he's a little more than clumsy. Particular to this is Warrgle, who uses Keen Eye specifically for this purpose. This clumsiness thing is a little odd since his ability is Compoundeyes, something that has been pointed out by practically everyone on the team. One theory is that he focuses so much on the little things that he doesn't see the big picture. It's kind of like that fable where the astronomer spends so much time looking at the stars he falls into the trech right in front of him.

Well, that's it. I really need to find some friends.
